Billing

Your daily room rate includes many items such as nursing care, meals and maintenance of the room. Charges for special services ordered by your physician, such as X-rays, laboratory tests, the provision of blood products, and medications, as well as operating room and anesthesia charges are listed separately on your hospital bill.

Physicians practicing in the hospital are not hospital employees or agents of the hospital. All physicians and surgeons furnishing services to the patient, including the radiologist, pathologist, anesthesiologist, etc. are independent contractors with the patient and service provided will be billed separately by the physicians. The bill you receive from Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is for hospital services only.
